BEST Ever Oreo Fluff Recipe!
You might not know this about me, but cookies and cream is one of my favorite flavors of all time. And when actual Oreos are used… pfft, all bets are off! There’s just something about sweet, fluffy whipped cream and the deep, dark cocoa flavor of Oreos that pair so well together. So you can imagine how seriously I took making today’s Oreo Fluff Recipe. It’s impeccable. Decadent. Luscious. And oh-so-good.
Made with the just-right balance of thick Cool Whip, sweet vanilla pudding, and a touch of tangy cream cheese, this easy Oreo Fluff is my favorite dessert dip—and one I tested again and again to make absolutely right (and packed with a TON OF OREOS!!)

What is Oreo Fluff?
Oreo Fluff, also known as Oreo fluff salad or Oreo cookie fluff, is a no bake dessert dip made with Cool whip, pudding, Oreos, and, usually, cream cheese. This dessert salad dip recipe is served with Oreos, graham crackers, and fruit, just like peanut butter dip.

Oreo Fluff Ingredients & Tips
We’re making a creamy Oreo fluff with cream cheese recipe that requires just 5 ingredients:
- Oreos: I used a whopping 25 Oreos in this dip, which is plenty, but if you want more, go ahead and add it in after you finish the recipe and see the final product.
- Cream Cheese: unwrap the block and heat in 5 second increments until extremely soft, then allow to cool off. If the cream cheese is too firm, it’ll create chunks in this cookie fluff.
- Instant Pudding: you can use vanilla, or Oreo pudding for a stronger cookie flavor. Just make sure it’s instant, or your Oreo cookie fluff will be runny.
- Milk
- Cool Whip: make sure to thaw until softened in the center before making this recipe.
How to Make Oreo Fluff With Cream Cheese
We’re going to be learning how to make oreo fluff with Cool Whip, but if you’d like to make it with homemade whipped cream, simply substitute the Cool Whip with an equal amount of chilled whipped cream (stabilized whipped cream would be even better!)
- Add softened cream cheese to a medium bowl and beat with a hand mixer until smooth.
- In a large bowl, whisk together milk and pudding until thickened, about 2 minutes.

- Place Oreos in a zip top bag and smash until thoroughly crushed, but with bite-sized chunks left. Set aside.
- Transfer cream cheese into pudding bowl and use the hand mixer to beat together until smooth, about 4 minutes.

- Fold in whipped topping, then fold in crushed Oreos. Chill in the refrigerator at least 2 hours, then serve Oreo Fluff topped with crushed Oreos.

How Long is Oreo Fluff Good For In the Fridge?
This no bake dessert dip is good for about 3-4 days in the fridge. Just make sure to cover it tightly by making it in a mixing bowl with a lid, not allowing any air to pass through.
Can You Freeze This Dessert Dip?
I do not recommend freezing this Oreo fluff dip to thaw and serve. However, you can eat it frozen like a firm pudding/soft ice cream.

Can You Make Oreo Fluff Dip the Day Before?
Yes, you can! You can store this Oreo cookie fluff salad for as long as 3-4 days. I recommend crushing the Oreos and sprinkling them on top right before serving for a fresh, crispy cookie topping.
What to Dip In Oreo Fluff
- Cookies: Oreos, vanilla wafer cookies, crispy chewy oatmeal cookies, chocolate graham crackers
- Fruit: apple slices, strawberries
- Savory snacks: butter crackers, potato chips, pretzels
