Even after all these years, my dog is still my best friend, which is why I’m so obsessed with this DIY beef dog food.

I adore my homemade dog food, and though it’s not the only food I make for Layla, it’s what I make on days when I run out of her usual food. However, not all dog food has all the necessary ingredients for long-term feeding.

I don’t know about you, but I want my dog to live forever. Really, truly I do, so I’m going to do whatever I can to make that a possibility. Luckily, it’s incredibly easy to ensure your dog is getting a balanced diet. This dog food topper recipe is a carefully formulated nutrient mix that helps to ensure your dog’s diet is not only balanced, but safe to consume on a long-term basis as well.
