Aman, renowned worldwide as the most exclusive hotel brand, is now bringing its celebrated philosophy of serenity, privacy, and understated elegance to the open ocean. With the launch of Amangati, the first yacht from Aman at Sea, the brand is redefining what it means to travel in ultra-luxury at sea. Scheduled to debut in 2027, Amangati aims to transform the traditional cruise experience into a floating sanctuary, blending the meticulous design, personalized service, and refined aesthetics that have made Aman legendary on land with the freedom and beauty of ocean exploration.
Unlike conventional cruise ships, Amangati is conceived as a residential retreat at sea, offering intimate spaces, expansive suites, and thoughtfully curated journeys where every detail is designed to enhance calm and comfort. Guests can now book these extraordinary voyages, with itineraries that promise a seamless balance of immersive cultural exploration, serene wellness, world-class dining, and the quiet elegance for which Aman is renowned.

The Ship
Amangati, whose name is derived from Sanskrit and translates to “peaceful motion,” will be meticulously designed to embody the calm, balance, and restraint that define the Aman brand. Measuring 183 meters (600 feet) in length and weighing 23,000 gross tons, the vessel will bridge the world of superyachts and private resorts, offering scale without sacrificing intimacy.

With only 47 suites on board, the ship will offer one of the most generous space-to-guest ratios in maritime travel. The vessel will feature a hybrid propulsion system that incorporates battery power to reduce emissions, improve efficiency, and enable quieter sailing. This advanced technology will align with Aman’s forward-looking approach to responsible luxury while enhancing onboard serenity.
Amangati is currently under construction at Italy’s T. Mariotti shipyard and will be delivered to Neptune Co., a joint venture between luxury hotel group Aman and Cruise Saudi, marking a strategic collaboration that will unite hospitality excellence with maritime innovation.
The Suites
The 47 suites aboard Amangati will be conceived as serene private residences, drawing inspiration from the quiet harmony of a traditional Japanese ryokan home. Interiors will be flooded with natural sunlight, featuring timber-toned finishes, ceilings reaching 2.5 meters (8.2 feet), and full-height windows that will frame uninterrupted ocean views. Private terraces will extend each suite outward, creating a seamless transition between interior calm and open water.
The Aman Suite will represent the most exclusive accommodation on board, offering an expansive private retreat complete with a dedicated lift, in-suite spa and sauna, generous living and dining areas, and a large terrace with a whirlpool overlooking the sea. Grand Suites and Signature Suites will provide similarly elevated comfort and panoramic vistas, while Premier and Deluxe Suites will maintain the same attention to detail in more intimate proportions. Each suite will be supported by round-the-clock personalised service, with dedicated Suite Hosts ensuring that every moment of the journey feels effortless and intuitive.
Onboard Dining
Amangati will comprise four distinct restaurants, each designed to offer a unique culinary experience and rhythm. Alira will feature open-air Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the regions the ship will visit, while Hiori will offer a refined teppanyaki experience celebrating the artistry of Japanese cooking. Akari will present washoku traditions through a contemporary lens, with ingredients selected at their peak and served at an omakase counter and Sake Bar. Aman Grill will honor the elemental art of open-flame cooking, showcasing prime meats, whole fish, and seasonal vegetables. Guests will also have access to casual options, including light bites available throughout the yacht, a gelato bar, and private dining either in-suite or in the dedicated Private Dining Room, all accompanied by soft drinks, coffee, and beer.
Wellness and Spa
Wellness aboard Amangati will be conceived as an integral part of the voyage, offering a holistic sanctuary for relaxation, rejuvenation, and mindful living. The expansive Aman Spa, spread over two decks, will feature eight ocean-facing treatment suites, each opening onto a terrace with a private whirlpool bath. Guests will have access to spaces for yoga, meditation, thermal rituals, and movement practices designed to harmonize body and mind. A dedicated Beauty Lounge will provide grooming and radiance treatments, while open-air decks will offer serene spaces for mindful exercise and reflection. Pool, Gathering Spaces and Marina
Life aboard Amangati will unfold across a series of elegant communal spaces designed for both connection and relaxation. A 16-meter (52-foot) heated infinity pool will serve as the centerpiece, surrounded by sun loungers and daybeds with uninterrupted views of the sea and sky. Adjacent lounges and open-air areas will encourage casual conversation, shared drinks, and live entertainment, while the jazz club will provide an intimate space for evening music and gatherings. These communal areas will blend seamlessly with the vessel’s calm atmosphere, offering guests the choice between social moments and private reflection.
Amangati’s Selora Marina and Lounge will serve as the yacht’s gateway to the water, allowing guests to step effortlessly from deck into the ocean. Setting sail in spring 2027, Aman’s new ultra-luxury yacht will offer five- to eight-night cruise voyages along celebrated routes including the French and Italian Rivieras, Spain’s historic ports, and the Dalmatian Coast. Some Aman cruises will coincide with prestigious events such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix, while one special voyage will feature a sunset passage through Venice’s Grand Canal, offering a scenically dramatic and rare perspective. Pricing for a cruise aboard Amangati will reflect the exclusivity, personalized service, and comprehensive experiences that define Aman at Sea. Fares will be charged per suite rather than per guest. Five-night journeys will start at approximately $38,500, while seven-night itineraries may reach $54,600, equating to roughly $7,000 to $8,000 per night for an entry-level suite.
