Cobbles Special Photo Gallery: As we start the northern Classics season with Brugge-De Panne today (Wednesday) and Gent-Wevelgem on Saturday, our man with the camera, John Thomson, has put together another top photo gallery to whet your appetite for the coming cobbled battles.

John Thomson: This is my “Beers, Badgers and Cobbles Holy Week Special” photo gallery from 2023. It includes shots from the Oude Kwaremont at the Tour of Flanders, the Scheldeprijs and the Carrefour de L’Arbre sector at Paris-Roubaix. Plus some other goodies.

If you shoot the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix it is required by French law to convert at least one image to an artsy black and white version in Photoshop
