Han was an absolute legend! He took such great care of the group and had a really fun side (he’s a huge K-pop fan who came alive at karaoke) while also being professional, kind and genuinely caring. You could tell he wanted everyone to have the best time possible.
Sharing his knowledge and pure love for South Korea made the whole experience so meaningful and we learnt way more than we would have on our own.
Food was a huge highlight. I am not great with spice, and a lot of traditional dishes packed a punch, so my personal favourite was the Korean all you can eat BBQs. They were so fun and delicious.
If you love spice, then you must try the cheesy tteokbokki. We found an incredible spot in Gyeongju – just make sure you get an ice cream afterwards!
