Delicious Fruit Salad for Christmas
The first thing I reach for Christmas morning are the cookies. I mean, you need energy to open presents, you know? But then I immediately regret it… stomachache much? So this year, I’m going for this easy Christmas fruit salad. It’s refreshing, filling and healthy, but most of all: festive! I love this Christmas holiday fruit salad recipe for Christmas morning, Christmas brunch, and everything in between.
This fruit salad for Christmas uses red and green fruit to really get into the holiday spirit, with red and green grapes and apples, bright green kiwis, and sparkling red pomegranate arils. Bringing it all together is a bright and sweet honey lime dressing that brings out the fresh flavors of fruit. You and your loved ones will be noshing on this treat all Christmas morning, along with Christmas puppy chow and Rolo pretzels.

Easy Christmas Fruit Salad Ingredients
- Red and green apples: for red apples I like using crisp and sweet Cosmic Crisp (my fave apple) and tart Granny Smith apples
- Pomegranate arils: my favorite addition, these are so beautiful and deeply red
- Red and green grapes: I love this combo and use it in grape salad too!
- Kiwis: be sure to peel and halve these before adding to the recipe for Christmas fruit salad
- Raspberries: we’ll put these on last to avoid crushing them
- Honey + Fresh Lime Juice: just two easy ingredients to make the salad dressing

How to Make Christmas Morning Fruit Salad
Making fruit salad for Christmas brunch takes just two steps. It’s quick and easy, yielding the most delicious results for Christmas morning!
- Add green grapes, apple slices, red grapes, pomegranate, and kiwis to a large salad bowl. Fold until well mixed.
- Drizzle with honey and lime to coat. Sprinkle on raspberries and fold in very gently. Enjoy and serve with Snickers salad for a special treat!

Dressing for the Best Christmas Fruit Salad
The dressing for Christmas morning fruit salad is very simple, consisting of honey and fresh lime juice. Skip bottled as it won’t taste as good. Instead of whisking the two ingredients together, we’ll just need to drizzle it over the salad to coat.

How Long Can I Keep Christmas Fruit Salad?
I recommend making and serving it right away just like with pear salad. If not, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days. Any longer and it will spoil.
