Want to see more science-backed, plant-based content in your Google results? Add Forks Over Knives to your Preferred Sources on Google!
Earlier this month, Google rolled out a new feature called Preferred Sources, which allows you to select which outlets you most want to see when you’re searching for news: Instead of leaving it all up to the algorithm, you can tell Google which sources you trust.
If you’d like more science-backed nutrition news, seasonal vegan recipes, and whole-food, plant-based content in your results, you can now add Forks Over Knives as one of your preferred sources.
To do it, simply click this link and check the Forks Over Knives box. That’s it!
Once you’ve checked this box, anytime you search for a topic for which Forks Over Knives has a relevant recent article, it will be highlighted more prominently in the “Top Stories” section, as well as in a dedicated “From Your Sources” section within Google News. You can add other outlets, as well.
The feature currently only applies to Google News stories (not Google results more broadly). Still, it’s a way to fill your feed with more expert-backed outlets that you trust, and it’s especially handy as AI and other changes continue to reshape how Google shows information to users.
