Beautycounter is back – but this time as Counter! Here are all the details on the new company and the products available to purchase today!
Until I can get my hands on actual new packaging, here’s me “holding” the new bottle!! 🙂
Counter will look a little different this time starting with fewer products. Consider this to be a soft launch of the best-sellers. There are only 19 products launching today with a few old favorites and a few new products. They have said the product line will grow to about 50 of the most popular products plus some new ones too (fingers crossed for fragrance!)
One thing that will remain the same: Counter remains completely dedicated to clean, transparent, and safe products. Advocacy for these will continue to be a focus of the community-driven movement that Beautycounter founded in 2014. The Never List of ingredients is still a part of the product formulas, and they are in the process of re-applying for B Corp status as Counter.

Counterglow (formerly Countermatch)

There are a few Beautycounter products that are listed in a Vintage Clean section along with a few makeup items. Just an FYI to look for them! Sugarbuff Body Polish is my favorite body product.
The New Counter
Counter has been very thoughtfully rebuilt as Gregg took the time to examine every layer of the business – from the product formulations and packing to how affiliates can share links and continue to be a community based message of safer beauty for all. I think most of the improvements are going to be great – including free shipping and new loyalty structure.
How much will shipping cost?
GREAT NEWS! It will be free over $50, always!!
Will there be Band of Beauty?
There will be a loyalty program (that will be free to join) to earn product credits ($15 credit for every $200 spent). There are also extra perks coming, like for your birthday month, so since it’s free to join you should!
Are the products exactly the same but in new packaging?
Yes and no – many products are the same or have small enhancements for performance. Many of the Counterglow products are new – HQ is already raving about the new Counterglow Hyaluronic Mist. I think Countertime remains mostly the same (don’t mess with a good thing!) The website will have notes on what is new and what isn’t.
Is my favorite product coming back?
Gregg has said that the new company is going to niche down and focus on skincare and makeup for women over 35. I DO think that some of the big products (like mascara and Mighty Plump) will come back in time. But I don’t think the smaller sellers (like shampoo or body sunscreen) will be.

I will continue to earn commission on sales through my links. The new model is more of an affiliate model and less of an MLM, which I think is all good!
Can I sign up as a Counter affiliate too?
For the soft launch on June 25 only former consultants are invited as affiliates. But after the first month, anyone can join as an affiliate. And guess what – it’s FREE!
