Over 90% of players experience weight loss and improved fitness through the programme.
Hull KR Foundation inspires people through sport and physical activity and delivers real and lasting benefits in terms of health and wellbeing.
Janine Badger, Health and Wellbeing Manager at Hull KR Foundation, said:
“We’re really proud to launch this partnership with MAN v FAT here in Hull. This initiative offers men a unique and supportive way to improve their health through rugby and teamwork. It’s not just about weight loss – it’s about building confidence, improving mental wellbeing, and creating a community where men can support each other on their journey.”
Karl White, from MAN v FAT HQ, added:
“For us to partner with our fifth Rugby League Club’s Foundation in Hull KR is brilliant. The work each and every Foundation undertake within their communities is integral to not only improving residents’ health and wellbeing, but getting people into the game of rugby – or back into the game, like is the case with a lot of our members. An added element to this partnership is that it gives the guys the opportunity to play in the shadow of Craven Park.”
MAN v FAT has seen real results across the UK – with thousands of men losing weight, gaining confidence, and reconnecting with sport in a supportive and structured environment.
