We’re writing a new Mediterranean diet cookbook!

We are extremely thrilled to have secured a deal for a third cookbook. The working title is:

Mediterranean Every Night

…and it will be published by Chronicle Books in spring of 2027!

We’ve had many requests for a Mediterranean diet cookbook from readers and we are over the moon that it’s actually happening.

The book will have 100+ of our best brand new healthy recipes that fit into your everyday lifestyle, from dinners to desserts.

It’s the same publisher as our A Couple Cooks book so it will have the same beautiful print quality. And this time, the two of us are photographing the book!

What’s inside the book

Alex and I don’t love the word diet. It sounds like rules, restrictions, and counting things — none of which we believe make for joyful eating. But after a decade of writing healthy recipes, we realized the way we eat fits what’s known as the Mediterranean diet!

So we’re excited to write a book that features this way of eating and living. The 100+ recipes in this book will feature:

  • Real food made from scratch
  • Vegetarian, vegan, seafood, and chicken recipes, with many of them gluten-free recipes
  • Lots of vegetables, whole grains, olive oil, and legumes
  • Exciting, approachable meals to make the Mediterranean diet fun!
  • Photos for every single recipe

Interestingly, research backs up this way of eating, too. The Mediterranean diet has been ranked the world’s healthiest diet by ​​US News & World Report​​ for 8 years in a row!

Another great thing about the Mediterranean diet is that it isn’t just about what you eat. It also includes staying physically active, reducing stress, being engaged in community, and drinking alcohol in moderation.

We hope this book will be transformational for people who are interested in a healthy way of eating and living that comes from a place of joy and freedom.
