Favourite Moments: Fireworks, Makgeolli & First Times
There are plenty of magical moments on Julian’s tours, but a few stand out. “I’m very happy to see my travellers enjoying the yacht tour at night in Busan, watching fireworks and the fantastic views. I can feel everyone is so happy in that exact moment,” he says.
And when it comes to breaking the ice, nothing does it quite like a makgeolli tasting session in Sokcho. “We get to know each other, talk, laugh and enjoy different Korean liquors and local foods. It’s always a tour highlight!”
Sometimes the most unexpected moments are the most powerful. Julian recalls one traveller who had only ever cruised the Caribbean and had never ventured outside the US. “She said the trip opened her eyes to a new culture and new memories she never expected. That made me feel very proud.”
