Olive Tree People just launched their Olive Rose makeup line. Here are the new products and my thoughts and review!
I just got my hands on the brand-new Olive Rose makeup line from Olive Tree People. The line is waterless, skincare-infused makeup infused with hydroxytyrosol, one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants derived from olive trees. This is the same ingredient that is in Oliveda skincare.
These products don’t just make you look polished — they nourish and protect your skin with every wear. They are also smartly designed (like the stick blush and eyeshadow), and the new pump format of the Skin Tint serum is a HUGE improvement from the dropper bottle.

Why “waterless” makeup?
Traditional makeup is mostly water — but Olive Rose replaces water with olive leaf cell elixir, rich in antioxidants and skin-restoring nutrients. This means:

Skin Tint Serum
This is a lightweight tinted serum that hydrates, evens tone, and gives a luminous “your-skin-but-better” finish.

This product launched last year, and I found the dropper-style bottle was annoying to use. I LOVE THE NEW PUMP! This is going to be my new favorite tinted moisturizer. The formula has also gotten some light improvements, and it’s a more gel-like texture (similar to Dime Wonderscreen). It also smells clean and fresh. Use can use the shade finder to pick your perfect match. I’m wearing shade 5!
HT Blush Glow
Creamy, multi-use color for cheeks and lips. I LOVE stick blushes and have been using the Ilia one until I ran out a few weeks ago. Great timing on this one arriving. Drawing this on and lightly blending makes putting on blush SO easy.
- Made with Hydroxytyrosol, nourishing olive oil, and a cushiony base of plant waxes and botanical oils

HT Shaping Contour
Similar to the blush, this is a waterless contour stick that is easy to apply and blend. I’m not super talented in this department, so I haven’t tried it, but I’ve seen some great videos of using this with the blush together.

HT Lip Butter
Ultra-conditioning lip color that nourishes while adding soft pigment. It’s like the Beautycounter Jellies that I love so much! The color is perfect.

HT Volumizing Mascara
This new mascara lifts, thickens, and defines lashes with lash-nourishing ingredients so your lashes grow longer with use. I love the brush, and I have sensitive eyes and haven’t noticed any irritation since using it. The formula is also light enough that you can build coverage without fear of clumps. It’s very similar to Counter’s mascara but the brush is more of a caterpillar style.

HT Skin Glow Setting Spray
A final step to set your look and give your skin a radiant finish. I love the light rose scent, and I am hoping this helps my makeup last longer and stay put.

Brightens, smooths, and conceals while caring for delicate under-eye skin. I didn’t order it because this is my favorite eye product, but if you like a traditional concealer, this is already loved in the Oliveda community!

HT Pearl Primer Serum
This was so popular it sold out on launch day! It’s a universal primer that blends skincare care with makeup performance for radiant skin using Hydroxytyrosol, Hyaluronic Acid, and skin-conditioning emollients. I didn’t order this one (yet) because I’m more of a makeup minimalist, but if you’re a foundation wearing, this is for you!

Perfect for quick swipes, finger-smudging, or diffused detailing, it’s the one-and-done eyeshadow. I love that it’s another stick-form product vs. a paint-it-on cream shadow.
