I’m always trying new and new-to-me beauty products, and I wanted to share a few new ones I’ve been using. While there are a million different brands out there, I try to prioritize clean ingredients and multitasking products that simplify my routine but also yield results (or feel incredible).
These recent finds from my beauty drawer include hydrating mists, glowy serums, a lash booster, and a cleansing balm I look forward to using at the end of the day. Here’s what I’m loving lately and why!

I started using this after seeing so many rave reviews, and I can tell a difference already! I have terribly short lashes, so any time I use a lash serum it helps. My lashes look just a little fuller and longer and putting on mascara gets easier. This one also doesn’t cause irritation or burning (unless I put on too much) because I do have eyes sensitive to products.

A nourishing body oil that absorbs beautifully—no greasy after-feel! Skin feels smooth and silky, especially after dry brushing and showering. I find oils easier to spread across large areas – like legs and arms – compared to lotions.

- Subtle natural scent – barely scented
- Great for post-shave or massages

I’ve been loving this balm since it launched earlier this year. It melts makeup and sunscreen effortlessly and leaves my skin soft and nourished. It smells SO GOOD. Like cocoa butter with a touch of vanilla and lavender. When I’m feeling really lazy, I apply and wipe off and leave the rest as a nighttime moisturizer. It’s best used at night or for a double cleanse because it’s thick and rich and not easily dissolved in water (which is also why it’s so great at taking off makeup!).

This Neroli face oil is a dream. I seriously wish you could smell this through the screen—it’s incredible and maybe the most delicious product I’ve ever put on. I love pressing it in as the final step in my nighttime routine to lock in the moisture.

This was the last of the Oliveda elixirs I tried, and it’s also my favorite! If you’re retinol-sensitive or otherwise choose not to use it, this is the perfect alternative. It’s gentle but effective, and it also smells sooooo good – like a clean botanical. You can use it day and night. Mix a few drops with your serum.

Pretty Frank Deodorants
Pretty Frank sent me their deodorants to try out. Each stick is made with organic coconut oil, shea butter, and beeswax, and effective ingredients like arrowroot powder, zinc, magnesium, and clay. They are made without aluminum, parabens, synthetic fragrances, or petrochemicals. If you are sensitive to baking soda, these are baking soda free. I love the Charcoal Seaside scent! I’m giving the unscented to Thomas who doesn’t like fragrance. And so far, I have only had a good experience with sweat / wearing off. No concerns! They also have a cool lavender “pit paste” if you like a more alternative style of deodorant.
Counter Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer
Dew Skin is back! I forgot how great of a product it is – the perfect texture but still easy to blend as it melts into skin for sheer, natural coverage with SPF. I use shade No. 2.
Why I Like It:
- SPF 20 for daily sun protection
- Lightweight and breathable
- Skin looks like skin—just a little more radiant and balanced

Counter Hyaluronic Moisture Serum Mist
This is a much improved version of the old Countermatch Toner, which was never on my favorites list. But the new-and-improved mist is awesome. It’s a great layering mist before moisturizer—especially if your skin feels tight or dehydrated. I love how lightweight it is and that it has hyaluronic acid which acts as a hydration magnet and plumps the skin.

Counter Silky Skin Cleanser
This is also a new-and-improved Countermatch line, which used to be my favorite shower cleanser! It’s a creamy, gentle cleanser that doesn’t dry skin out. It’s perfect for mornings or a second cleanse at night after removing makeup.

- Leaves skin soft, not squeaky
- Gentle foaming action
- Great for all skin types

Counter All Bright C Serum
One of my holy grail products, ABC serum is back! This was probably the most requested and missed Beautycounter product to return at Counter’s launch. This vitamin C serum brightens skin in the moment and over time and helps with dark spots and dullness. I use it every morning before moisturizer and SPF.
Why I Like It:
- Non-irritating but powerful
- Gives a glow almost immediately with its yellow hue
- Helps even out skin tone
