Quick And Healthy Breakfast Ideas For School • Kath Eats

Are your kids tired of cold cereal for breakfast? I’ve got you covered with quick and healthy breakfast ideas that will keep them energized for a full day at school.

Weekday mornings can be a challenge to get everyone fed and out the door on time!

Trying to get yourself ready for the day while simultaneously setting up your kids for a successful day at school is no easy task. I love to share this post every back to school season to jive up some new breakfast ideas for your family. While frozen waffles, kids friendly smoothies, Cheerios, oatmeal, and toast are on rotation around here, I do like to mix in more special breakfasts so the boys don’t get too sick of the everyday staples. And grown-ups who have to get out the door on time need wholesome breakfasts too!

Mazen is entering middle school this year and his favorite breakfast in a protein-based smoothie. And while Birch would eat Great Harvest cinnamon chip toast every single day if we kept it in stock year round, we try to mix in his favorites for varied nutrition!

In this post I have rounded up a variety of quick and healthy breakfast ideas that run the gamut of kid friendly and adult palettes!

From banana baked oatmeal to savory egg and cheese cups, you can make many of these school breakfasts recipes ahead of time so you don’t have to think twice about what to eat at 8 a.m.
