Here’s what’s new in KERF world!
OK it maaaayyyy have been 80+ degrees when I tried on these new fall clothes from Carve Designs! But sweater weather is just around the corner.
I love the Audrey Wide Leg Pants they sent, along with the Dylan top. I did have to get the pants hemmed (I’m 5’2″) but I’ve gotten several compliments on how “trendy” they look.

The Marias jacket is also reversible!

And then two days later – I’m back to sweating in a tank and shorts!

There are signs of fall everywhere – and all the foods are turning spiced too! Thanks to General Mills for this lovely care package!

Hiking Season
Since the days have been warm but not too hot, I’ve been doing a lot of hiking. The Monticello Trail, Ivy Creek, and Biscuit Run are my favorites close to town.

Halloween Is Coming
Mazen is making his Halloween costume from scratch this year. This is his inspiration. So far it’s coming along nicely and he’s learning how to sew.

Where’s Birch?!
We’ve had a run with the Where’s Waldo books lately.

Along with play doh shenanigans –

And coloring! I love to sit and knead play doh and color.

B is so good with music we’re considering piano lessons! We don’t own a piano but have a friend who does. If your kids started lessons around age 7, leave any tips in the comments!

Little school visit for the parents! Here is Birch enjoying his coffee while he does his morning workbook. (JK that’s Thomas’s coffee.)

Cookie taste tester says this recipe is coming soon!
