Hi friends! Here today to share some of life lately. The boys have been in camp, or hanging at home or at the pool. We’ve been enjoying all the summer activities and foods now that we’ve been back in the home routine!

Scorpio Tattoos for both October birthdays. I’m sad to say this pen was a bust. It came out way too thick. This marker is a better draw-on option! I’ve been really into these henna-style tattoos that last for 2 weeks. A great option for someone who isn’t ready for a real permanent one!

What’s For Dinner? Everything Bagel Salmon! (Sponsored)
With seasonal ingredients like bright fresh dill and summer cucumbers, this Everything Bagel Salmon from Blue Apron was a hit in our house. I loved the tangy caper-lemon sour cream with the crispy skin salmon. And the fresh dill and cucumber salad was perfect for a hot day. I’ve been prepping my ingredients in the morning so we can stay a little late at the pool after camp or easily put dinner together after a 5:45pm soccer game. If you haven’t been to the new Grit Coffee downtown, it’s a super nice modern spot! Garage vibes in the old Waterbird spot. I’ve been into their Matcha Lemonade this summer!
Soccer games at 100 degrees are quite intense!! I had to pour water all over my head. Our season just ended after thunderstorms cancelled a ton of the games 🙁
Virginia Theater Festival
I went with some theater friends to see Into The Woods for the Virginia Theater Festival and it was SO GOOD!

You saw that Beautycounter is back as Counter. I bought a few of my old-time favorites, including the Vitamin C serum. Happy to report that it’s the same wonderful product and scent as in the original! While I do miss the bright yellow bottle, the new packaging is all REALLY nice. Very sturdy and the pumps work great.
