Wellbeing the key word at MAN v FAT Awards

MAN v FAT members from up and down the country descended on London on Saturday night to celebrate some remarkable men in the MAN v FAT community.

This year, we were in the shadows of West Ham’s stadium at Riverside East, as the MAN v FAT Awards headed to the capital for the first time.

There were some familiar faces in attendance, with many of those who had participated in the Amazing Losers fixture 24 hours earlier also enjoying the Awards ceremony.

There were also some familiar names on the silverware too, with MAN v FAT Bridgend continuing their successes both as a club and individually at the Awards for a second year and Yeovil’s Aaron Knight also claiming another silver salver – this time for Most Active Player.

There were several new clubs represented among the winners this year, with Blackpool, Bury, Guildford, Kidderminster, Oldbury, Slough, Sutton, Weymouth and Wimbledon among those claiming victory in 2025.

Over the years, MAN v FAT has become much more than just weight loss and, fittingly on a night supported by our friends at JAAQ, the consistent thread was around wellbeing and how MAN v FAT has taken men from difficult places in their life mentally and physically to much more positive outcomes.

Congratulations to all of our winners – your stories are truly inspiring and you act as role models for men like you around the country.
