Across Bolivia, Peru, and Ecuador, many farmers are advancing agroecological practices that protect biodiversity, nourish communities, and care for the land. Yet their stories often remain close to home. To help share these experiences with wider audiences, the Andes Agroecológicos project brought together 12 prominent content creators from the region for an immersive look at agroecology in the Andes.
The initiative—led by the Institute for Rural Development in South America (IPDRS) in partnership with the McKnight Foundation—connects creators with farmers, markets, and local food systems across the three countries. By learning directly from producers, creators can better understand both the challenges and the achievements of people who grow healthy food and steward the environment. Their videos, photos, and posts help highlight these lessons and strengthen the link between rural communities and the digital world.
