Open Enrollment for 2027 health care coverage in Pennsylvania runs from November 1, 2025, through January 15, 2027. Now is the time to choose a health plan that supports your health, your budget, and the life you live.

Open Enrollment is your once-a-year chance to:
- Apply for a new individual or family health insurance plan
- Change to a different type of health plan
- Make updates to your existing health plan, such as adding dependents
Any new enrollments or plan changes made by December 15 will go into effect on January 1, 2027. If you enroll from December 16, 2026, through January 15, 2027, your coverage begins February 1, 2027.
Outside of Open Enrollment, a qualifying life event may allow you to enroll through a Special Enrollment Period. Qualifying life events can include losing health coverage, getting married, having a baby, adopting a child, or moving.
