Here’s a recap of Mazen’s birthday, life lately, and my last post before my trip to Paris.

The most amazing double rainbow close enough to touch!
This is my last post for a few days while I take a long-awaited trip to Paris! Universe-willing, I’ll be back with recaps of my travels on September 18, and I hope to share lots of cafes, croissants, and Champagne!
Happy Fourteenth, Mazen!
This was the only birthday photo I was allowed to capture of the teenager! Showing the latest addition to his giant Hogwarts Lego creation. We need a bigger table in the Lego Museum!

We were lucky that Grammie and Pea were driving through on a road trip to New York for my cousin’s wedding, so they stopped by and spent the night on their way home to celebrate Mazen. The boys refused a photo at M’s birthday dinner at The Local. So we captured The Original Three!

I had the bacon-wrapped meatloaf served over mashed potatoes!

This was their first visit to my new house, so of course we had to visit the donkeys! We brought them sliced apples, which they loved.

It was a short visit, as the boys had school the next morning. Grammie came with us for drop off, and we said goodbye.

What Else Is New?
New clothes from Quince! I’ve been getting ads for Quince on IG for years, so I decided to try a few of their pieces. I loved them!
I found this pretty floral top, which is perfect for fall, and these stretch chinos are perfect.

And this tee was only $16 and is the PERFECT v-neck!

I also tried their Bella Jeans, which I really loved, but I just could NOT do the wide leg!!! I need a straighter leg with my height, so I am hoping to try another style next. (Not the jeans pictured above).
Matcha Foam
I have been loving this matcha truck –NOK108 – at the farmer’s market!

I get the lavender matcha with milk and vanilla cold foam. So refreshing!

Game Time
I dusted off Splendor for the first time in ages and played with some friends at a game night. I forgot how great this game is! And for a good two-person travel game, check out Jaipur!

Of course we’re always playing The Greatest Game Of All Time!

Playdates
We’re in the era of playdates for Birch, and he’s loved showing his buddies around the neighborhood. It’s always easier for me too because they play really hard while I can get things done around the house.

Although sometimes I just sit and “play Legos,” aka watch him show me things.
