MAN v FAT Soccer, a male health and wellbeing program powered by community and sport, is coming to Katy, Texas and, with the league launching in May, early indications are that the league is set to be a huge success.
MAN v FAT Soccer has supported men to lose over 9,000lbs of weight since they got started in the US at the end of 2024 and how has leagues running in Florida, New Jersey, New York and Texas – with Pennsylvania going live in May.
Texas has proven to be a hotbed of MAN v FAT Soccer action, with successful communities built in Dallas Fort Worth and Houston. Katy will join the mix in May, with MAN v FAT teaming up with Katy International Sports Complex to bring the program to the area.
Registrations for the league only started a few weeks ago, but already sign-ups are reaching encouraging numbers.

Katy and West Houston join a growing number of leagues in Texas amidst the latest batch of new launches across the US by the MAN v FAT Soccer team.
With the World Cup coming to the US in the summer, the growth of the program is something that hugely excites MAN v FAT Director Richard Crick.
“We’ve already really enjoyed working with the team at Katy International Sports Complex,” he said.
“They share many of our values and we’re very excited to be bringing MAN v FAT Soccer to Katy and the fantastic facilities that Alex and his team have on offer.
“Men in Texas who’ve joined up to MAN v FAT have proven to be very successful in their weight loss and in building great communities, and we have no doubt that Katy will follow in their footsteps.”
