Across the big cities in the UK, there are many fantastic MAN v FAT clubs doing great work to support busy men with their wellbeing goals.
Whilst pressures on time are higher than ever, men in the MAN v FAT communities stay true to the cause and carve out time for their weekly sessions.
And that’s particularly true in our Westminster club, where the men there continue to rack up impressive weight loss outcomes.
Reflecting on the successes in Westminster, coach Konstantina Pigiaki said: “The club was originally led by Eloy, who sadly had to step down due to illness. He was with the club from the very beginning and played a huge role in building what it is today over 5 years.
“Since then, I’ve taken over in 2025 to continue the work he started and to keep pushing the club forward. We’re proud to have several players who have been with us for over five years, including my assistant coach Paul Brown, which really speaks to the culture and loyalty within the club.”
Paul brings a strong energy to the club which has lifted the other guys to really buy into the MAN v FAT ethos and Konstantina is proud of what the lads have built there.
She added: “Our club is based on commitment, community, and progression. You do not become a member of a sports club for weight loss only, rather members become a part of something. We have a very strong base of loyal members and we also possess a very competitive edge to our club. We have players who also participate in 11-a-side league and our national tournaments.”
And that provides an inspiration to Konstantina, who reflected: “I love sharing knowledge and helping people become the best version of themselves they can be. Not just physically, but mentally and socially. Watching confidence build, friendships form, and people achieve things they didn’t think they were capable of is what keeps me motivated.”
