How $0 Virtual Primary Care EPO plans work
With a $0 Virtual Primary Care plan, you have the option to choose a board-certified Teladoc Health doctor as your virtual primary care physician (vPCP). When you get care from your vPCP, you have a $0 copay.
Like a PPO, $0 Virtual Primary Care EPO plans let you see in-network doctors and specialists without referrals. You also aren’t required to get referrals to see a specialist or use designated providers for certain services like physical therapy and lab work.
That means you can access in-network care while enjoying the convenience of having a virtual primary care option and flexible hours available when it makes sense for you.
Your vPCP can support the same health needs as a traditional PCP, including:
- Annual wellness visits
- Follow-up appointments
- Discussions about your health history and concerns
- Personalized care planning
- Prescriptions
- Lab orders, when appropriate

$0 Virtual Primary Care EPO plans only cover in-network care, but your network goes beyond the Greater Philadelphia region. Our EPO plans include the BlueCard® network, so you have in-network access to Blue Cross and Blue Shield doctors and hospitals across the country.

You can choose a traditional PCP or a vPCP and see in-network specialists when you need them without a referral. You can also lower your out-of-pocket costs by opting for lower-cost settings for certain services — for example, getting lab work done at Labcorp instead of a hospital lab.
